@Karan: Hey mate. Good to see you back. Yeah its real fun to watch this in India isn't it? I don't know if you've been to Delhi recently but these days this is happening there left, right and center. The MCD sealing drive! Its ridiculous and funny at the same time.

Whoa! Even I so vividly remember enjoying these demolitions since childhood. And yes, with it also remember envying the guy behind the bulldozer's wheel. Its just fab to see a strong solid structure of bricks falling like a pack of cards. Plus when I was in India, they used to happen to shops and showrooms that had encroached on like the whole footpath and then half the street with their elaborate steps and overhangs (More than half the shop's display was outside the actual shop). So there was always a lot of drama involved... first came big red crosses and then the D-day LOL and I used to love standing there with a told-ya-so look as the culpable, stuck-up shopkeeper screamed like crazy at how unreasonable the municipality is. Haha.

What a shame that in London they seal off the neighbouring roads, cover it all up and bomb it all without dropping me an invitation. Sigh!

A relief to read something from your side.

@GuNs: Yes, little things sometimes trigger long forgotten memories. I hear Pune has changed remarkably over the years and is now one of the prime locations of choice to live.
>>And who the heck is Kareena and why would she..
How many Kareena's do you know Guns ? :P You need to get headphones.. you dont know what you are missing!

@Suyog: lol. I trust Calvin to say that. Although I must admit girls nowadays think a little different. Playing with dolls is slightly out of fashion these days. New generation.

@Nirwa: No Nirwa. That is Kareena's normal voice. Its only when she's sick she sounds human :P

Hmmm.. Is Kareena unwell? Seems like she's got a sore throat!

This picture - I know it will be hard to believe, but sometime back when I saw a house being demolishd, I actually took pictures of it too!

First things first, what the hell was that ma-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee!! Jeez man, fell on the ROFLing (:P, I know doesnt make sense).

Now, yes, guys like demolition - Reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes strip in which there's a drawing competition where they have to draw what comes to their fancy - On looking at her painting Calvin tells Susie - "Look at you girls. Playing with dolls, homes and gardens. Girls think small - while we Boys, Boys think BIG!". Susie - "Oh yeah what are you draw"

Calvin - "Jets nuking New York"

May have the words wrong, but you get the point :P :P :P :P :P :P . G.R.O.S.S rulez!

Err... maybe I digress too but these demolitions were kinda routine during my early college life because that was when Pune was shedding its second grade city status and turning into a real cosmopolis. So when I watch a demolition or a road-laying in progress, I somehow seem to think of my college days. Maybe thats a weird way in which our brain remembers important things - by linking them to seemingly innocuous incidents. How many times does listening to a mid-90s song remind you of something/someone/somewhere? Weird eh? Same here. Me too [:-)]

And who the heck is Kareena and why would she WHISPER in your ear when she's speaking to you on the phone?? LOL, in office, cant hear that audio clip.
