Everyone wants to own a piece of history I guess. Mostly to boast of their fabulous collection after a dinner party I guess. Also, perhaps owning something that belonged to a famous person makes you feel closer to them as if some of their spirit is trapped in it. @Nirwa: I agree about the newspapers. And coming back to your post, hehe, yeah, its an irony.. It's ironical when *all* the newspapers print endless articles on how Pramod Mahajan was shot at, but they all miss out how Jessica Lal's father died waiting for justice for his daughter's murder by Manu Sharma. Some of the newspapers and channels didn't even consider it worth mentioning... these were the same which were starting the "fight for Jessica" campaign. Newspapers and News channels are just looking for gossip and masala.. The day Pramod was shot at, they kept showing news about him only, as if the rest of the world has come to a standstill. He must be a good politician or whatever, but surely there were other news. And TOI is Trash Of India - such baseless news!! Hmpphhhh Nirwa Newspapers today print really crazy stuff.
